The Morgan County Sports Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization established in 1989 as a tribute to the men and women whose achievements in the world of sports have made Morgan County a centerpiece of athletic success and brought special honor to our community.

During its 29 years of existence, the Morgan County Sports Hall of Fame has recognized 198 individuals at our annual banquet.

The 25 members of the board are all unpaid volunteers. The modest costs (postage, supplies, etc.) and inductee awards are financed by the annual induction banquet, program sponsors, golf tournament, and donations. All remaining proceeds are given to the Morgan County Boys and Girls Club. Since its inception, the Morgan County Sports Hall of Fame has contributed more than $400,000.00 to the Boys and Girls Club.

The Hall of Fame is always in need of funding to keep the program, activities, and events effective and moving forward. If you operate a business in the county or one that is associated with sporting activities, a sponsor relationship with the Hall of Fame would be to your benefit. To associate yourself with the MCSHOF in helping us continue to give recognition and award to county teams and athletes, sheds a positive light on you and your business and will be rewarded with dedicated patronage.
